New Delhi, Nov 25: Congress MPs will not participate in the Constitution Day program to be held in Parliament on Friday, November 26. According to sources, a case has come to light of MPs from some parties other than the Congress staying away from the program. The event will be held at the Central Hall on Constitution Day, which will also be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Congress MPs meeting
Congress MPs held a meeting at 10 Janpath in Delhi late Thursday evening. After the meeting, Congress leader in the Rajya Sabha Malikarjun Kharge said that the meeting was for the winter session starting November 29. The issues to be raised in the Congress session were discussed. Kharge said that Congress would raise the issue of farmers, MSP and Lakhimpur Kheri in this session. He said that Congress along with other opposition parties would take up the issues of the people in the House. Congress leaders AK Antony, Anand Sharma, Mallikarjun Kharge, Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary, KC Venugopal, K. Suresh, Ravneet Bittu, Jairam Ramesh participated.
