India is not yet fully ready for 5G, but Cabinet Minister (Communications) Ashwini Vaishnav says India is preparing to launch 6G technology by the end of 2023 or early 2024. Ashwini Vaishnav says that preparations for Swadeshi 5G are also in full swing and a big software for this technology will be ready by the third quarter of next year. Regarding 6G, he claimed that India aims to launch the technology by the end of 2023 or early 2024, and the scientists and engineers working on the technology have already been given the required permissions.

He said (translated) “Development of 6G has started. The deadline is set somewhere in 2024 or 2023 – the end. We are in India [खास] Will design telecommunications software that will serve telecommunications devices and telecommunications networks manufactured in India, and will go global. ”

As we have mentioned, apart from 6G, he has also made a statement about the introduction of indigenous 5G. He says the technology could be launched by the third quarter of next year with the development of a special software. It is also expected to auction 5G spectrum in the second quarter of 2022.
