Bangalore, 24 November Police have arrested four accused in connection with the gang-rape and subsequent murder of an 8-year-old girl in Mangalore, Karnataka. The four accused were working in the same factory mill where the girl was allegedly gang-raped. The accused have been identified as Jaiban (21), Mukesh Singh (20), Munim Singh (20) of Madhya Pradesh and Manish Tirkey (33) of Jharkhand.

According to the Indian Express, Mukesh, Jaban and Manish were working in a tile factory in Wamanjur. The girl was allegedly raped in the same factory. The child’s family members work in the same factory and are originally from Jharkhand. According to police sources, Manish, a resident of Jharkhand, had been working in a tiles factory for 11 months, while Jaiban and Mukesh had joined three months ago.
